This page explains how to request deletion of user data associated with OVM Agency’s Meta (Facebook/Instagram) application and related OVM systems.
What this covers
When an authorized user connects Meta assets to OVM Agency tools, we may store limited operational data needed to provide advertising, reporting, and support services. That can include:
- Meta user or business identifiers associated with the connection
- Connected page, ad account, pixel/dataset, or asset identifiers
- Access tokens or token metadata required to maintain the connection
- Logs related to authentication, API calls, and support requests
- Contact details you provided to OVM in connection with the integration
This process is intended to satisfy Meta’s user data deletion requirements for developer apps.
How to request deletion
- Email info@ovmagency.com with the subject line: Meta App Data Deletion Request.
- Include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your Meta/Facebook account or business contact record
- Your Facebook/Meta user ID if available
- The business or ad account name involved, if applicable
- A clear statement that you want your Meta App user data deleted
- Optionally CC your OVM account contact if you work with us as a client.

What we will do
- Verify the request is authentic and relates to data under our control.
- Delete or de-identify Meta App user data associated with the requester from OVM systems, including stored tokens and connection records where feasible.
- Confirm completion by email, normally within 30 days of a verifiable request.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information when required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, or when data is part of a separate client services agreement that must be handled under that agreement. Where retention is required, we limit access and stop active use for Meta App functionality.
Additional controls you can use
- Remove the app’s access in your Facebook/Meta settings: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business Integrations).
- Revoke OVM’s access to specific Business Manager assets from Meta Business settings.
- Request deletion of website form data or other OVM account data by emailing info@ovmagency.com.
Confirmation and status
After we process your request, we will email a confirmation. If we need more information to locate your records, we will reply and ask for it. If we cannot complete a request in full, we will explain what was deleted and what, if anything, must be retained.
